Terms, Privacy, Refunds and Acceptable Use
Terms of Use
Realtime TechLive (“the Service”) lets you transform your camera video into an AI-generated character in real time, and send the result to streaming software such as OBS. By creating an account or buying credits you agree to these terms, the Refund Policy and the Acceptable Use rules below.
- Accounts. You must give a real email address and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Credits. Credits are bought in the packages shown on the website. While an AI session runs, 2 credits are used for every second. Credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Credits do not currently expire.
- Sessions. A session ends when you stop it, when your credits run out, or when the connection is lost. Time while a session is active is billed.
- AI output. Results are generated by AI and can be imperfect. We do not promise any particular quality, speed or uninterrupted availability.
- Third-party services. The Service relies on providers including Decart (AI video), Paystack (payments), Supabase (accounts and data) and Cloudflare (hosting). Their outages can affect the Service.
- Suspension. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use rules.
- Liability. The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.
- Changes and law. We may update these terms and will change the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Privacy
- What we collect. Your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name. Your credit balance, purchase records and session records (start time, duration, credits used).
- Your camera. Video frames from your camera are sent to our AI provider, Decart, to create the live result. We do not record or store your video or the AI output on our servers.
- Character photos. Photos you add as characters are kept in your own browser on your device. A photo is sent to the AI provider while a session uses it.
- Payments. Card and bank details are handled by Paystack. We do not see or store them. We keep the payment reference and amount.
- Sharing. We share data only with the providers listed above, as needed to run the Service, or when the law requires.
- Your choices. Email us to see, correct or delete your account data. We keep payment records as long as the law or accounting requires.
Refund Policy
- Unused credits. If you ask within 7 days of a purchase and have not used any of those credits, we will refund the purchase.
- Used credits. Credits already spent on live seconds are not refundable.
- Our fault. If a technical fault on our side wastes credits (for example a session billed but no AI output), email us and we will add the credits back or refund them.
- Failed payments. If you were charged but no credits arrived within 30 minutes, email us with your payment reference and we will fix it or refund you.
- How to ask. Email support@realtime-techlive.com from your account email. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Acceptable Use
Characters are for fun, creativity and privacy. You must not use the Service to:
- pretend to be a real person without their clear permission, or to deceive people about who you are for fraud, scams or harm;
- upload a photo or likeness you do not have the right to use;
- create sexual or explicit content, or any content that involves minors in a harmful way;
- harass, threaten, or promote hate or violence;
- break the rules of the platform you stream on, including its rules about disclosing AI-generated content.
